About The Position

This role is a 1-year contract position that is fully on-site. The pay rate is approximately $28 per hour, depending on experience. Fluency in Vietnamese or Mandarin Chinese is mandatory for this position. The Logistic Operator will be responsible for coordinating freight, managing fulfillment and distribution, maintaining SOPs, and analyzing operational data to drive improvements and efficiency.

Requirements

• Minimum 1+ years of professional work experience in freight forwarding or ocean import logistics operations
• Demonstrated expertise in analytical and problem-solving methodologies with the ability to rapidly master complex logistics operations
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
• Proven interpersonal and communication capabilities with the ability to engage effectively across all organizational levels
• Ability to perform effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities with urgency
• Professional work ethic with commitment to operational excellence and compliance
• Fluency in Vietnamese or Mandarin Chinese is mandatory

Nice To Haves

• Strong customer orientation and strong negotiating skills
• Willingness to travel up to 10% as required

Responsibilities

• Coordinate ocean, air and trucking freight with carriers, 3rd party logistics providers
• Manage and support fulfillment & distribution activities
• SOP/Work Instructions maintenance and ensuring operational best practice in line with customer requirements as well as ensure operational SOP compliance
• Builds relationships with carriers, vendors, & internal team members, and helps resolve any freight problems that may arise.
• Analyze operational data and KPIs to identify trends and support continuous process improvements.
• Constantly evaluates logistics processes to improve operational efficiency and support long-term business growth
