About The Position

The Logistic Operator performs integrated pipe yard control and pipe dispatch in complex facilities, safely and efficiently, following applicable procedures and defined quality standards. The role supports pipe tracking and dispatch operations, coordinating with Production and Supply Chain and maintaining accurate records and product traceability. The position is located in Baytown, Texas, USA, in the Supply Chain department, and requires working a rotating shift.

Responsibilities

Commit to health, safety, and environmental policies and report potential risks.
Ensure product quality by following defined standards and reporting deviations.
Carry out duties efficiently, meeting productivity and efficiency standards while keeping costs to a minimum.
Perform activities according to applicable procedures.
Complete and update applicable records accurately to ensure product traceability.
Use company assets properly and detect and report malfunctions.
Attend and collaborate in training activities to maintain and increase company knowledge.
Suggest improvements and participate in continuous improvement activities.
Maintain a clean and orderly workplace.
Perform activities with an understanding of their consequences for the overall process.
Abide by Tenaris discipline norms.
Control pipe in the yard.
Issue packing lists.
Control and issue certificates for pipe dispatches.
Visually inspect pipe bodies, threads, and bevels.
Distribute loads in wagons, ships, or trucks.
Program pipe dispatches.
Coordinate activities with other areas, such as Production or Supply Chain.
Enter and modify data, updating information in tracking systems.
