About The Position

Danfoss is seeking a Logistics Continuous SAP Project Manager for our facility in Tallahassee, Florida. You will lead all logistics continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing warehouse, driving efficiency, inventory accuracy, and overall productivity.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or Logistics
15 years of experience in logistics and manufacturing environment
10 years in SAP environment setup
Certification in Lean Manufacturing and/or certification from Association for Supply Chain Management (APICS) or International Federation of Procurement and Supply Management (IFPSM)

Responsibilities

Lead and execute logistics improvement projects focused on warehouse flow, inventory management, material movement, and packaging optimization.
Develop and implement lean tools and principles (e.g., 5S, Kaizen, value stream mapping, standard work) to eliminate waste and increase process efficiency.
Analyze logistics KPIs (stock accuracy, pick accuracy, dock-to-stock time, warehouse productivity) and drive action plans for improvement.
Serve as the key contact for SAP WM/MM (Warehouse Management / Materials Management) modules related to logistics operations; coordinate with IT and global SAP teams to implement system improvements, automate transactions, and enhance data accuracy.
Train and support logistics and warehouse personnel on SAP-related processes and new functionalities.
Lead initiatives to improve inventory accuracy and traceability through cycle counting, root cause analysis, and system corrections.
Develop and deploy digital tools or dashboards for real-time visibility of warehouse performance and stock movements.
Ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls related to materials and inventory.
Manage cross-functional projects from conception to implementation, ensuring deliverables meet cost, quality, and timing objectives.
Collaborate with Production, Supply Chain, Quality, and Engineering teams to align logistics improvement activities with business goals.
Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations for management review.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement and standardization in warehouse and logistics operations.
Mentor logistics staff in lean principles and problem-solving methodologies.
Benchmark best practices across Danfoss sites and propose scalable improvements.
