About The Position

Deer Valley Resort is seeking a Lodging Maintenance Technician for the Winter 2026-27 season. This role involves performing routine and preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs within Deer Valley Resort properties and common areas. The resort is located in Park City, Utah, and prides itself on a diverse and welcoming workforce. Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license.
  • CPO certified in maintaining balanced pools and hot tub chemicals.
  • Must work well with others and function as a team member.
  • Willing to learn new skills and perform tasks in a timely and safe manner.
  • Must have at least mid-level maintenance skills.
  • Must be service oriented and self-motivated.
  • Basic hand tools required.
  • Must be able to perform heavy lifting and strenuous work, such as snow removal.
  • Work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.

Nice To Haves

  • Computer skills highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs within Deer Valley Resort properties and common areas.
  • Work with various chemicals including pool chemicals, concrete sealers, and painting products.
  • Work on ladders and scaffolding.
  • Use power tools and equipment.
  • Operate company vehicles in a variety of weather conditions.
  • Perform grounds maintenance, snow removal, and ground care.
  • Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and drywall systems.
  • Troubleshoot, service, and repair pumps, condensers, motors, lighting, and 3-phase electrical panels and circuits.
  • Install and repair faucets, seats, and drain seals.
  • Remove/install toilets and auto flushers.
  • Troubleshoot drainage problems, water leaks, and lack of water, and effect repairs.
  • Perform woodworking and carpentry tasks on cabinetry, counters, walls, stairs, and doors.
  • Perform drywall repair and painting of interiors and exteriors.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
