About The Position

Sugarbush Resort is seeking individuals with a strong eye for guest service and hospitality to become Front Desk Agents for the Lodge at Lincoln Peak. Join our team and help create exceptional guest experiences in a welcoming resort environment. Candidates should be professional, personable, and committed to providing outstanding customer service. The lodge is seeking to fill a Full time (5 shifts) or part-time (2 shifts) position for shifts from 2pm-10pm. This position pays $20/hour.

Ability to juggle many demands and sometimes difficult guests
Availability for a flexible workweek (including holidays and weekends)
General computer knowledge
Experience with cashier/customer service
Timely and reliable attendance
Written, spoken and reading proficiency in the English language
Ability to work flexible hours and overtime during busy periods
Repetitive data entry
Long periods of standing
Occasional lifting of luggage up to 20 lbs.

Nice To Haves

Experience at a hotel/front desk
Previous use of SMS or other reservations systems

Responsibilities

Greeting guests
Answering phones
Checking guests in/out
Providing information about the resort and the Mad River Valley
Processing charges in selling resort products/services
Responding to guest needs
Balancing guest accounts
Working with the resort's information systems
Ensuring positive, accurate, prompt, and courteous service while putting the guest's interests first
Printing lift tickets for groups and guests during winter season
