About The Position

The Front Desk Agent organizes, confirms, processes, and conducts all guest check-ins/check-outs, room reservations, requests, changes, and cancellations. They secure payment, verify and adjust billing, activate and distribute room keys, process guest requests, and relay messages, welcoming and acknowledging guests per company standards. Requirements

  • Ability to organize, confirm, process, and conduct all guest check-ins/check-outs, room reservations, requests, changes, and cancellations.
  • Ability to secure payment, verify and adjust billing, activate and distribute room keys, process guest requests, and relay messages.
  • Ability to welcome and acknowledge guests per company standards.
  • Ability to answer guest questions and offer information and assistance.
  • Ability to answer telephones.
  • Ability to maintain work area neat and organized.
  • Ability to maintain keys in secure area.
  • Ability to report all unsafe conditions immediately.
  • Ability to update information in computer systems as needed (e.g., post charges).
  • Ability to complete other duties as assigned by supervisor, including cross training.
  • Ability to attend all mandatory meetings.
  • Ability to follow checklist for required duties and timelines.
  • Ability to process personal and traveler's checks.
  • Ability to handle safe deposit boxes.
  • Ability to read, pass on log, and communicate with previous shift.
  • Ability to run reports (high balance, cash basis, etc.).

Responsibilities

  • Answer guest questions and offer information and assistance; answer telephones.
