About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Locum Orthopedic Surgeon to provide comprehensive orthopedic care within a supportive rural healthcare framework that boasts a well-established referral network and a collaborative, multidisciplinary team approach. The ideal candidate should be adept at managing a wide array of musculoskeletal conditions, specifically those prevalent in an aging demographic.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited medical school with an MD or DO degree.
• Successful completion of an ACGME-accredited orthopedic surgery residency program.
• Ability to promptly secure a New Hampshire medical license.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association is mandatory.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with common hand conditions such as trigger finger and carpal tunnel syndrome.
• Comfort in managing and consulting on spine and back pain conditions.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive orthopedic care.
• Manage a wide array of musculoskeletal conditions, specifically those prevalent in an aging demographic.
• Perform scheduled procedures in the Operating Room on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
• Conduct patient consultations in the Outpatient Clinic on Tuesday and Friday.
• Provide approximately 10 days of call coverage per month.
• Evaluate and treat joint replacement conditions (hip, knee, and shoulder replacements).
• Evaluate and treat common hand conditions such as trigger finger and carpal tunnel syndrome.
• Manage and consult on spine and back pain conditions.
