As a Locum MD in Urology, you will play a pivotal role in diagnosing and treating a wide range of urological conditions. Working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team, you will ensure continuity of care for patients while upholding the highest clinical standards in the Medical Practice industry.
Requirements
- Medical Doctor (MD) degree with completed specialization in Urology
- Valid medical licensure and board certification or eligibility in Urology
- Associate-level experience in urological clinical practice
- Proven clinical skills in diagnosing and managing a broad spectrum of urological disorders
- Proficiency in performing urological surgical procedures with a focus on patient safety
- Strong patient communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a healthcare team
- Excellent documentation, record-keeping, and organizational abilities
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous learning
- Flexibility to work on a contract basis with on-site presence in Florence
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive urological evaluations and diagnostic assessments for patients
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for urological conditions
- Conduct urological procedures including cystoscopies, biopsies, and minimally invasive surgeries
- Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging studies, and urodynamic evaluations
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care
- Provide on-call coverage and timely emergency consultations as required
- Maintain accurate, detailed, and up-to-date patient medical records
- Educate patients and their families on urological health, treatment options, and preventive care
- Ensure compliance with all medical standards, protocols, and regulatory requirements
- Participate in ongoing professional development and clinical training activities
