About The Position

Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited medical school
- Active, unrestricted medical license to practice in the state of Texas
- Board certification or active board eligibility in Radiology
- Completion of an accredited residency program in Radiology
- Strong diagnostic interpretation skills across all imaging modalities
- Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making abilities
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of an interdisciplinary team
- Adaptability to work in different clinical environments and manage varying caseloads
- Commitment to patient safety, ethical practice, and continuous professional development
- CSR and DEA required
Nice To Haves
- Must be able to read abdominal MRI and some prostate/MR
Responsibilities
- Interpret a wide range of radiological studies, including X-rays, CT, MRI, ultrasound, and fluoroscopy
- Provide accurate and timely diagnostic reports to referring physicians and healthcare providers
- Consult with clinical teams to discuss findings, recommend follow-up procedures, and support treatment planning
- Perform image-guided procedures as required, ensuring patient safety and comfort
- Document patient information and maintain accurate medical records in compliance with regulatory standards
- Adhere to established protocols, quality standards, and radiation safety guidelines
- Collaborate with radiologic technologists and other staff to optimize imaging workflows
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and peer review processes
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals in a compassionate manner
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of advances in radiology and imaging technology
