About The Position

This on-site, contract position offers a unique opportunity for an associate-level physician to deliver high-quality care within a dedicated medical practice setting. As a Locum Medical Doctor, you will play an essential role in the diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management of patients with hematologic and oncologic conditions. Working on-site, you will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive, patient-centered care that aligns with the latest clinical standards.

Requirements

Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree or equivalent medical qualification.
Board certification or active candidacy in Hematology, Oncology, or Hematology-Oncology.
Valid medical license in the relevant jurisdiction or eligibility to obtain licensure.
Experience in a clinical setting, with direct exposure to hematology and/or oncology patient care.
Strong diagnostic, analytical, and clinical decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction and team collaboration.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, on-site healthcare environment.
Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and standard clinical software.
Commitment to providing compassionate, evidence-based, patient-centered care.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary medical team.
Flexibility to adapt to changing clinical demands and patient needs.
Current BLS/ACLS certification as required for clinical practice.
Must be board-certified

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive medical care to patients with hematologic and oncologic disorders.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and clinical guidelines.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including laboratory panels, imaging studies, and biopsies.
Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other oncology treatments as clinically indicated.
Monitor patient progress, evaluate treatment responses, and adjust care plans accordingly.
Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and support staff to coordinate multidisciplinary patient care.
Maintain accurate, timely, and comprehensive medical records in accordance with best practices.
Educate patients and their families about diagnoses, treatment options, side effects, and supportive care resources.
Participate in tumor boards, case conferences, and quality improvement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with all medical protocols, safety regulations, and institutional policies.
Provide on-call coverage and manage acute patient presentations as required.
Stay current with advances in hematology and oncology research and integrate evidence-based practices into care.
