Locum MD (Medical Doctor), DO (Osteopathic Doctor) Primary Care
About The Position
This contract position offers an exciting opportunity to directly impact patient care in a supportive medical practice environment. You will be working on-site, ensuring that our patients receive high-quality healthcare services. As a Locum MD or DO, you will provide comprehensive medical evaluations, diagnoses, and treatments to patients in a primary care setting. Your role will include collaboration with fellow healthcare professionals to enhance patient outcomes, adhering to best practices and guidelines in the industry. Will treat chronic medical problems such as diabetes, hypertension, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, degenerative arthritis, depression, congestive heart failure, angina, and pain.
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
- Active medical license in the state of practice
- Must be board-certified or board-eligible
- Knowledge of electronic health record systems is a plus

Responsibilities

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the practice
- Stay current with medical guidelines and practices
- Assist in the training and mentoring of junior staff
