About The Position

As a Locum Gastroenterologist, you will play a critical role in diagnosing and treating gastrointestinal conditions, working collaboratively with our healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care. Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Residency training in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology
- Experience providing patient-centered care in a medical practice setting
- Strong diagnostic and clinical skills in Gastroenterology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team
- Valid medical license to practice in the state of New York
- Must be board-certified
Nice To Haves
- Board certification in Gastroenterology is preferred
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient consultations and assessments in Gastroenterology
- Diagnose and manage gastrointestinal disorders
- Perform necessary procedures, such as endoscopies and biopsies
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in Gastroenterology
- Provide education and support to patients regarding their conditions
- Rounding, inpatient consults, and performing ERCPs
