About The Position
This contract position offers an on-site opportunity to make a meaningful impact in patient care while collaborating with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals. As a Locum Urologist, you will contribute to providing quality Urological care, diagnosing and treating a variety of conditions affecting the urinary tract and male reproductive organs. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being of our patients and maintaining the high standards of our practice within the medical community in Salem.
Requirements
- MD or DO degree with a valid medical license
- Relevant experience in Urology, preferably as a locum
- Strong clinical skills and patient management abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Flexibility to adapt to different clinical settings
- Commitment to continuing education and professional development
- Knowledge of electronic medical record systems is a plus
- Must be board-certified
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient evaluations and manage treatment plans for urological conditions
- Perform urological surgeries as necessary
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
- Educate patients about their conditions and treatment options
- Participate in case discussions and medical rounds
- Stay updated with recent advancements in urology
- Adhere to established medical protocols and ethics
