About The Position

Smile Brands is seeking locum general dentists who want flexible assignments while maintaining autonomy in their dental practice. Dentists can choose opportunities that fit their schedule, lifestyle, and career goals, with support from a dedicated Smile Brands team. Assignments may be short-term, ongoing, or longer-term and are available across multiple markets and practices. Compensation is listed as $1,000–$1,200 per day, with production upside described as an opportunity to earn beyond the daily rate. Travel expenses are covered for eligible assignments. The position is associated with an affiliated dental office identified on the company career site. Smile Brands supports more than 650 affiliated dental practices across 28 states. Requirements

DDS or DMD from an accredited school.
Active state dental license.
CPR certification.
DEA license, or be in the process of obtaining one.
Controlled Substance License if required by the state.
Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

Conduct dental examinations, diagnose oral health issues, and develop treatment plans tailored to patients’ needs.
Educate patients about oral hygiene, preventive care, and post-treatment maintenance.
Lead dental assistants, hygienists, and other team members to coordinate patient care and treatment.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including treatment plans, procedures, and patient progress.
Stay current with developments in dentistry, attend seminars, and pursue ongoing education.
Follow ethical and legal standards, regulatory guidelines, and patient confidentiality requirements.
