About The Position

UVM is seeking a Locksmith Assistant to learn and perform maintenance and repair of university building locks/security systems and associated hardware to ensure security on campus without disruption to university functions. Access information utilizing appropriate software. Promote a workplace that encourages safety within the shop and in the field. May operate a university vehicle. Report to a Zone Supervisor and actively engage in learning and practicing principles of social justice and inclusion, environmental sustainability and exceptional value to customers.

Requirements

• Ability to access information utilizing appropriate software.
• Ability to promote safety.
• Ability to operate a university vehicle (may be required).
