Location Supervisor (Mon-Fri 11am-8pm)

About The Position

The Location Supervisor assists the Location Manager with day-to-day operations at one or more locations. The role requires understanding all aspects of the locations, building positive relationships with clients, and improving the efficiency and business of delivery operations. Key priorities include building client relationships, recruiting, and gaining all of the client’s business at each location. The position is a manager-in-training role intended to prepare the successful candidate to become a Location Manager.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
Prior experience in management and/or logistics.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong leadership and planning ability.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to prioritize workload and manage time.
Ability to identify and resolve problems, with attention to detail.
Ability to identify opportunities to improve accuracy and optimize resources, and to develop, recommend, and implement solutions.
Excellent negotiation skills when dealing with individuals and groups inside and outside the organization.
Ability to provide timely, professional support to internal and external customers and vendors.
Effective organization and leadership skills.
Proven leadership and collaboration skills, including the ability to supervise, coach, and influence employees.
General computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Outlook, and AS400.

Responsibilities

Assist the Location Manager with day-to-day operations.
Manage deliveries and routes.
Assist with recruiting and retaining contractors.
Promote engagement and a positive culture.
Work directly with the client and Location Manager.
Adhere to and enforce operational policies.
Oversee warehouse operations at certain locations.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Build client relationships and seek to gain all of the client's business at each location.
Perform other duties as assigned.
