About The Position

This part-time position at the Juneau International Airport is responsible for the maintenance, functionality, and accounting of luggage carts. The role involves approximately 1 hour of weekly visits, four times a month. Requirements

Working knowledge of equipment and ability to perform maintenance and repairs
Valid Driver's license required
Ability to obtain airport badge required
Electrical and mechanical equipment repair skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Maintain accurate records and write reports
Proficient in computer and Smartphone use
Lift 40 lbs. to waist height
Push/Pull 75-100 lbs.
Bend and stoop, walk and stand for long periods of time
Visual acuity/manual dexterity to perform mechanical and electrical repairs

Responsibilities

Maintain clean equipment at all times, replace components as needed
Perform monthly collections, accounting, deposit and weekly testing of all forms of payment
Maintain policy and procedure expectations of the facility and Smarte Carte
Maintain regular contact with District Service Manager
Maintain a safe working environment by ensuring all equipment is in good repair and working as designed
Maintain a positive relationship with the facility management (airport management)
Other assignments as needed.
