This position is responsible for administering the planning, use, and expenditure of Motor Fuel Tax (MFT) and Federal-Aid (FA) funds for transportation purposes made available to all local governmental agencies in the district. This responsibility includes plan reviews, construction procedures, inspections, project documentation, assistance, and guidance to local agencies to provide the maximum utilization of available resources from all sources for local transportation improvement programs. The Illinois Department of Transportation is seeking to hire a Local Roads & Streets Engineer.
