About The Position

TForce Freight is seeking a reliable, safety- and customer-focused Local Driver to join its logistics team. The role is responsible for safely operating a tractor and trailer to deliver freight accurately and on time. The driver represents TForce Freight to customers by providing a positive, helpful, and professional attitude. Applicants must provide a complete 10-year employment history on the application in accordance with FMCSA regulations.

Requirements

Impeccable customer service and dedication.
Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) in the resident state.
Hazmat, tanker, and doubles endorsements.
At least 21 years of age.
Meet all DOT and company requirements.
Safely perform essential job functions without obvious risk of injury to self or coworkers.
Ability to read, write, and speak English.
U.S. citizenship or other authorization to work in the U.S.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Provide a complete 10-year employment history on the application in accordance with FMCSA regulations.

Responsibilities

Operate a commercial vehicle to transport goods safely and efficiently to various locations.
Ensure cargo is properly loaded and secured before departure.
Provide excellent customer service by making timely deliveries and handling customer inquiries or concerns.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs.
Follow local, state, and federal transportation regulations and safety protocols.
Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes traveled, and cargo conditions.
Communicate with the dispatch management team about schedules, delays, and issues that arise during transportation.
