About The Position

TForce Freight is seeking a reliable, safety- and customer-focused Local Driver to join its logistics team. The driver safely operates a tractor and trailer to deliver freight to customers accurately and on time, representing TForce Freight with a positive, helpful, and professional attitude. The position offers a starting rate of $33.90 per hour. Applicants must provide a complete 10-year employment history on the application in accordance with FMCSA regulations.

Requirements

Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) in the driver’s resident state.
Hazmat, tanker, and doubles endorsements.
At least 21 years of age.
Meet all DOT and company requirements.
Perform essential job functions safely without obvious risk of injury to self or coworkers.
Ability to read, write, and speak English.
U.S. citizenship or otherwise authorized to work in the U.S.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Impeccable customer service and dedication.
Provide a complete 10-year employment history on the application in accordance with FMCSA regulations.

Responsibilities

Operate a commercial vehicle to transport goods safely and efficiently to various locations.
Ensure cargo is properly loaded and secured before departure.
Provide excellent customer service through timely deliveries and by addressing customer inquiries or concerns.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs.
Follow local, state, and federal transportation regulations and safety protocols.
Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes traveled, and cargo conditions.
Communicate with dispatch management about schedules, delays, and transportation issues.
