About The Position

The Local CDL Class A Driver operates a 26-foot box truck and a tractor pulling trailers up to 53 feet, delivering goods safely and on time on local routes. The role is home daily and includes touch freight, loading and unloading pallets and electronic equipment with pallet jacks. The posted schedules are Monday–Friday, 12:00 p.m.–8:00 p.m.; Thursday–Monday, 7:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m.; or Tuesday–Saturday, 10:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m.

GXO offers starting pay of $30.50 per hour, with overtime pay available after 40 hours worked per week. Requirements

• At least 6 months of CDL Class A experience operating a tractor pulling 53-foot trailers within the last 3 years.
• At least 18 years old.
• Current, valid CDL Class A driver’s license.
• Safe driving record.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience moving multiple types of trailers, such as tanks, vans, and flatbeds.

Responsibilities

• Drive trucks and tractor trailers around the site or on public roads.
• Load and unload pallets and electronic equipment using pallet jacks.
• Drive safely and follow all safety policies and practices.
• Perform routine inspections.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch.
• Ensure safe, on-time delivery of goods on local routes.
