Local CDL A Driver - Night Shifts
About The Position
The CDL Class A Driver operates tractor trailers and box trucks on local routes, either around the site or on public roads, to ensure safe, on-time delivery of customer goods. The position is home daily and involves loading and unloading freight with pallet jacks. Drivers work one of two night schedules: Sunday through Wednesday, 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM, or Wednesday through Saturday, 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM; every other Wednesday is off. Pay starts at $31.00 per hour, with a $3.00 per hour shift premium and overtime pay available after 40 hours worked per week. Requirements
- At least 6 months of CDL experience in the last 3 years operating the same type of equipment required for the position, or larger.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Current, valid Class A CDL.
- Safe driving record.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience moving multiple types of trailers, such as tanks, vans, and flatbeds.
