About The Position

Auto Value in Lafayette, Indiana is seeking a full-time local Dispatcher. This is an in-store sales and customer service position responsible for organizing customer orders and deliveries. The position offers training opportunities for advancement. Automotive experience or knowledge is encouraged.

Previous experience in the automotive field.
Valid driver's license.
No major driving violations.
No more than two moving violations in the past three years if over age 25, or in the past five years if under age 25.
No more than one at-fault accident.
At least 18 years of age.
Must pass a physical and drug screen.
Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds with both arms.

Responsibilities

Schedule and dispatch store delivery drivers.
Facilitate inter-store transfer orders by arranging shipment and receipt, routing orders to their final destinations, and ensuring they go out on schedule.
Provide support to drivers.
Resolve customer concerns and issues.
Provide information and documentation for invoicing.
Communicate clearly and professionally, both orally and in writing.
Ensure vehicle maintenance and repairs are completed on time and as needed.
Cover the Store Counter position when needed.
Complete returns processing and store cycle counts daily.
