This position is for a relief delivery driver who fills in for other drivers who are unavailable due to vacation, illness, etc. The routes for the relief driver typically change day to day. The role involves delivering products to various customers, including convenience stores, gas stations, small supermarkets, and drug stores, across diverse weather conditions. The driver is responsible for operating the delivery vehicle, unloading products, bringing them into the store, and performing ongoing rotating and stocking of products on shelves, displays, vending equipment, and in coolers. Additionally, the driver builds small displays, sets up promotional materials like pricing signs and banners, generates invoices, and handles daily settlement of cash and charges. Frequent interaction with store management is required. This is a labor-intensive position that demands repeated lifting, loading, and pushing/pulling cases weighing 20-45 pounds during work hours, as well as reaching, squatting, and bending while delivering and merchandising products in the store.
