About The Position

This position is for a relief delivery driver who fills in for regular drivers on vacation, sick leave, or other absences. The routes for the relief driver typically change daily. The role involves delivering products to various customers, including convenience stores, gas stations, small supermarkets, and drug stores, across diverse weather conditions. The driver is responsible for operating the delivery vehicle, unloading products, bringing them into stores, and performing ongoing rotating and stocking of products on shelves, displays, vending equipment, and in coolers. Additional duties include building small displays, setting up promotional materials like pricing signs and banners, generating invoices, and daily settlement of cash and charges. The position requires frequent interaction with store management and is physically demanding, involving repeated lifting, loading, and pushing/pulling cases weighing 20-45 pounds, as well as reaching, squatting, and bending during delivery and merchandising.

Requirements

21 years or older
Valid U.S. CDL License with Non-Excepted Interstate Status
Pass the required drug test and physical capabilities test (if applicable)
Pass DOT physical and DOT Road Test
Ability to communicate effectively in English
