About The Position

The Shuttle Driver delivers loaded trailers to the shuttle depot and returns empty trailers to the branch. The role requires meeting delivery time windows, promptly communicating problems to a supervisor, and following company safety standards. Drivers are expected to represent Ben E. Keith professionally by maintaining a positive attitude and meeting dress code and cleanliness standards.

The company uses dash cameras with artificial intelligence to recognize safe driving, capture safety events, improve driver safety performance, and help exonerate drivers in accidents. Drivers sign a consent form upon hire acknowledging their understanding.

Requirements

• Have no more than one moving violation in the past three years.
• Pass the required drug and physical screening.
• Have at least one year of DOT driving experience.
• Hold a valid state-issued Class A CDL with Double/Triple Trailer endorsements.
• Be able to operate or drive a single axle with 28-foot, 36-foot, and 48-foot trailers with tandem axle tractors.
• Have a high school diploma or GED; work experience may be substituted for education.
• Sign a driver consent form upon hire confirming understanding of the company's dash camera use.
