About The Position

The Shuttle Driver delivers loaded trailers to the shuttle depot and returns empty trailers to the branch. The role requires maintaining delivery time windows, promptly communicating problems to a supervisor, and performing duties in accordance with company safety standards. Drivers are expected to represent Ben E. Keith professionally, maintain a positive attitude, and follow dress-code and cleanliness standards. The company uses dash cameras with artificial intelligence to recognize safe driving, capture safety events, and support improved driver safety performance. Video may also be used to exonerate drivers in accidents. Drivers sign a consent form upon hire confirming their understanding of this practice.

Requirements

Have a good driving record, with no more than one moving violation in the past three years.
Pass required drug and physical screening.
Have at least one year of DOT driving experience.
Have a valid state-issued Class A CDL with Double/Triple Trailer endorsements.
Be able to operate a single axle with 28-foot, 36-foot, and 48-foot trailers with tandem axle tractors.
Have a high school diploma or GED; work experience may be substituted for education.
Sign a driver consent form upon hire acknowledging the company's use of dash-camera video.
