Local Class A Driver
About The Position
MedTrans is Medline's private fleet of professional drivers, delivering medical products to commercial and residential customers. The Driver operates a Class A vehicle to transport products to local customers and helps build positive customer relationships through timely, accurate, and safe deliveries. Responsibilities include loading and securing product, driving between the Medline Facility and multiple customer destinations, unloading deliveries, assisting customers in person, coordinating with dispatch, maintaining required travel and cargo logs, and inspecting the vehicle.
Requirements
- Class A CDL and licensure to operate the assigned vehicle.
- At least 2 years of tractor-trailer driving experience.
- Ability to meet all Federal and State requirements for operating commercial motor vehicles.
- Clean driving record with no serious violations.
- Ability to frequently move, lift, and carry supplies or equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities
- Load and secure product from the Medline Facility into a truck.
- Safely operate a Class A vehicle between the Medline Facility and multiple customer destinations on a delivery route, following Medline safety regulations and performing safety checks.
- Unload and deliver product at customer facilities, ensuring timely deliveries.
- Provide in-person support to customers by addressing questions and needs and providing appropriate delivery documentation.
- Communicate with the dispatching team about necessary route or schedule adjustments to meet customer needs and maintain safe operations.
- Maintain travel and cargo logs in accordance with Federal and State regulations and company policy.
- Inspect the vehicle to ensure safe operation and sufficient fuel for continued use.
