About The Position
This is a local, home daily dedicated fleet position. Drivers will be home daily with 48-hour resets, having the same two days off each week. The role involves a slipseat operation with newer model day cab trucks. Drivers will need to drive their personal vehicle each day to the Distribution Center (DC) and will support other sites in the region as needed, while still remaining home daily. The job delivers dry and refrigerated groceries to stores in OH, IN & IL. Weekend availability is required.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum 3 months of Class A experience within the last 3 years
- Must live within driving distance of Gordonsville, VA and be able to commute daily
- Must meet all DOT drug, alcohol, and safety requirements
- Tickets, accidents, and criminal history reviewed on a case-by-case basis
Responsibilities
- Deliver dry and refrigerated groceries to stores in OH, IN & IL.
- Support other sites in the region as needed.
- Operate a slipseat, newer model day cab truck.
