About The Position
This is a dedicated local home daily account based out of Tipp City, OH. Must be able to commute to the distribution center daily. This position offers consistent local routes, steady miles, and reliable home time on a stable dedicated account. Local routes operate within Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana. The job involves a mix of live unload and drop & hook freight, with consistent freight and steady work year-round. This is a slip-seat operation using newer model day cabs.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum of 3 months of Class A driving experience within the last 3 years (truck school or training time does not count toward experience).
- Reliable transportation for daily commute to the distribution center.
- Ability to meet all DOT drug & alcohol and safety requirements.
- Tickets, accidents, and criminal history reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
Responsibilities
- Operate a Class A CDL vehicle for local routes within Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana.
- Perform a mix of live unload and drop & hook freight.
- Commute daily to the distribution center in Tipp City, OH.
- Adhere to all DOT drug & alcohol and safety requirements.
- Be available for night shifts, weekends, and holidays as part of a 24/7 operation.
