About The Position

Jason’s Deli Distribution, a division of Deli Management, Inc., is seeking a local truck driver to deliver products or pick up purchase orders on a timely basis. The position may involve day and/or night shifts. Drivers are home 99% of the time; deliveries to Houston and surrounding cities may occasionally take place at midnight or overnight when needed. Freight is no-touch. The position is full-time, in person, and pays from $25.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid Class A driver’s license.
• History of good driving during the past three years.
• Able to meet all DOT requirements and remain compliant.
• Ability to stand for extensive periods and bend, reach, twist, turn, climb ladders and stairs, and repeatedly get into and out of a truck.
• Ability to work in an environment with temperature fluctuations.
• Ability to understand and follow directions.
• Ability to lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds, with or without assistance.
• Ability to work well with others.

Nice To Haves

• One year of driving experience with a Class A CDL is preferred.
