About The Position

Jason’s Deli Distribution, a division of Deli Management, Inc., is hiring a local truck driver to deliver products or pick up purchase orders on a timely basis. Drivers operate modern air-ride tractors and handle no-touch freight. Routes are local, with drivers home 99% of the time. Some deliveries to Houston and surrounding cities may occur at midnight or overnight when needed. The role may involve day and/or night shifts and requires working in person. The company’s stated purpose is to improve lives through nourishment of the body, mind, heart, and spirit, and its mission is to make every customer happy.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have a valid Class A driver’s license.
• Must have a history of good driving during the past three years.
• Must be able to meet all DOT requirements and remain compliant.
• Must be able to stand for extensive periods; bend, reach, twist, turn, and climb ladders or stairs; and repeatedly enter and exit a truck.
• Must be able to work in an environment with temperature fluctuations.
• Must be able to lift very heavy objects up to 50 pounds, with or without assistance.

Nice To Haves

• One year of driving experience with a Class A CDL is preferred.
