About The Position

Novick Corporation is a service-oriented food distribution company in South Philadelphia specializing in childcare nutrition. Local route delivery drivers deliver temperature-controlled products on scheduled routes and verify deliveries with clients using a three-point check system. Drivers may join the Union and are eligible for company-paid benefits, including a fully funded pension plan that vests after five years of service. Driving and warehouse staff are invited to company events, appreciation activities, raffles, contests, giveaways, and farm volunteer opportunities. Deliveries are performed Monday through Friday, and new drivers are offered a four-day work week.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Current CDL license.
• At least two years of accident-free driving record.
• Good interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to drive, climb, lift, reach, bend, stoop, balance, and walk.
• Ability to repetitively lift and carry items weighing up to 60 pounds throughout the shift.
• Ability to frequently move items weighing up to 200 pounds with a two-wheel hand truck up and down ramps and in and out of client locations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver various temperature-controlled products on scheduled routes.
