Lobby Lounge Bar Porter - Full Time
About The Position
The Pfister Hotel is seeking a Lobby Lounge Bar Porter to join their team. This role supports bartenders and servers by stocking bar essentials, maintaining a clean and organized bar environment, and assisting with opening and closing duties. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional behind-the-scenes service to ensure a seamless, upscale guest experience in The Pfister Hotel's Lobby Lounge. The Pfister Hotel, built in 1893, is a historic icon in Milwaukee with over 130 years of gracious service and impeccable style, holding AAA Four Diamond hotel status for over 50 consecutive years.
Requirements
- Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment while maintaining a positive attitude and strong attention to detail.
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds, including kegs, cases, glassware, and other bar supplies.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively and support bartenders, servers, and leadership.

- Previous restaurant, bar, hotel, or food & beverage experience preferred, with a commitment to delivering exceptional guest service in a luxury hospitality setting.
Responsibilities
- Support bartenders and servers by stocking liquor, beer, wine, mixers, garnishes, glassware, and other bar essentials throughout each shift.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and polished bar environment, including bar stations, storage areas, coolers, and guest-facing spaces.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including setup, breakdown, inventory replenishment, and proper storage of products and supplies.
- Remove empty bottles, glassware, and waste promptly while ensuring compliance with safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service standards.
- Deliver exceptional behind-the-scenes service by anticipating operational needs and helping create a seamless, upscale guest experience in The Pfister Hotel's Lobby Lounge.
