About The Position

As a Lobby Houseperson, you will play a key role in ensuring that our hotel's public areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and aesthetics. You will be responsible for maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for guests by consistently upholding cleanliness and tidiness in all public spaces.

Requirements

• Knowledge of cleaning techniques and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical ability to perform tasks that require standing, bending, kneeling, and lifting.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain all public areas of the hotel including lobbies, corridors, restrooms, and other guest-facing areas.
• Ensure that all public areas are vacuumed, dusted, and kept free of debris.
• Clean and polish all fixtures, furniture, and decorative items in public spaces.
• Restock supplies such as toiletries, paper products, and cleaning supplies in public restrooms.
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness of entrances and stairways.
• Assist with special cleaning projects as assigned by the Housekeeping Supervisor or Manager.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and inquiries with a friendly and helpful attitude.
