About The Position
Join us at the Newly Renovated Homewood Suites Pittsburgh Southpointe. We’re looking for a dependable Houseperson / Lobby Attendant to help keep our hotel looking its best and to support our housekeeping team and guests. This role is ideal for someone who likes to stay active, takes pride in a clean environment, and supports a great team.
Requirements
- A positive, team-oriented attitude
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Dependable and able to follow hotel safety and cleanliness standards
- Willingness to stay active and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
Nice To Haves
- Prior hotel or cleaning experience is helpful, but not required
- Additional language skills are a plus
Responsibilities
- Support the housekeeping team by collecting soiled linens and restocking supplies
- Clean and maintain public areas, including hallways, restrooms, lobby spaces, and back-of-house areas
- Assist with guest requests such as delivering extra towels, pillows, cribs, or other items
- Vacuum, dust, polish furniture, and clean floors and common areas
- Remove trash and debris from interior and exterior areas, including garage and driveway spaces
- Assist with carpet shampooing and floor care (training provided)
- Put away incoming supplies and keep storage areas organized
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests and team members
