Loan Trading Support Administrator

About The Position

The Loan Trading Support Administrator will manage the loan trade lifecycle from initiation to settlement. This role involves creating tickets, settling trades in Clearpar, and liaising with our outsourcing provider, Alter Domus (AD). The administrator will verify the accuracy of AD's inputs, confirm they are performing duties as specified, and assist the Loan Trading Desk by maintaining communication on booking and settlement. Responsibilities include checking and releasing payments, understanding loan processes, reconciling flows and trades, and circulating trade documents for settlement. The role also requires booking trades in Loan IQ (creating Deal, Facility, Circle, and Loan), processing fees in LIQ, monitoring unsettled trades, generating reports, and resolving discrepancies prior to settlement. Participation in projects to enhance performance and efficiency is also expected.

Requirements

Undergraduate degree in Finance or comparable experience
3+ years of experience in financial services
Knowledge of current regulations and best practices
Knowledge of PC (Excel & Word), Loan IQ
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Effective written and verbal communications as well as a keen sense of detail orientation are also required.

Responsibilities

Manage Loan Trades life cycle from initiation to Settlement.
Create the ticket and settle the Trade in Clearpar.
Liaise with and oversee Alter Domus (AD), our outsourcing provider for Loan Trading.
Verify accuracy of AD inputs in Clearpar, confirm AD is performing duties as specified according to our work agreement.
Assist the Loan Trading Desk, maintain communication on booking and settlement.
Check and release the payments, have proper understanding of loans.
Regularly reconcile the flows and settled/unsettled trades.
On date of settlement, circulate trade documents to Loan Trading desk and Operations (BO) so settlement can be performed.
Effectively communicate and escalate any trade issues to related internal stakeholders.
Book the trade in Loan IQ: create Deal, Facility, Circle and Loan in Loan IQ.
Process fees in LIQ.
Monitor unsettled trades and generate reports to management and/or trading desk as needed.
Communicate and resolve loan trade issues and any discrepancies prior to the settlement.
Participate in projects and provide valuable input with various working groups, with the goal to continually enhance performance and efficiency.
