About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented Loan Support Clerk to join our growing loan operations team. In this role, you will play a critical part in maintaining the accuracy and organization of borrower and loan documentation. This position supports loan processors and servicing teams by ensuring documents are properly scanned, indexed, verified, and readily accessible.

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of experience in administrative, clerical, or financial services support
  • Hands-on experience with loan documentation, borrower files, or similar records
  • Strong experience with scanning, document indexing, and filing systems
  • High attention to detail and ability to verify documentation accuracy
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, shared drives, and document management systems
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

  • Basic understanding of loan documentation structures (e.g., title documents, endorsements)
  • Previous experience in loan processing or mortgage/financial services environments

Responsibilities

  • Scan, index, and maintain borrower and loan documentation within internal systems
  • Review documents for accuracy, completeness, and proper classification
  • Organize and manage both digital and physical filing systems in accordance with company procedures
  • Identify document types independently and ensure correct indexing and storage
  • Retrieve files and respond to inquiries from internal teams regarding loan documentation
  • Ensure compliance with internal documentation standards, including familiarity with title documents and basic endorsements
  • Support loan processing teams with administrative and clerical tasks as needed
