About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented Loan Support Clerk to join a growing loan operations team supporting critical banking functions. This individual will play a key role in maintaining borrower documentation, ensuring accuracy across loan files, and supporting internal teams with document retrieval and organization. This is a structured, high-volume environment where attention to detail and consistency are essential.

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of experience in administrative, clerical, or financial services support with a focus on loan documentation or borrower files
  • Hands-on experience with document scanning, classification, indexing, and filing systems
  • Strong ability to independently identify document types and maintain organized records
  • High attention to detail when reviewing borrower information and documentation completeness
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, shared drives, and document management systems

  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with internal stakeholders and respond to frequent requests
  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight

Responsibilities

  • Support loan operations by scanning, indexing, and maintaining borrower and loan documentation
  • Review and verify documents for accuracy, completeness, and proper classification
  • Organize and maintain both digital and physical filing systems in alignment with internal standards
  • Assist with document retrieval and respond to internal team inquiries related to loan files
  • Ensure compliance with documentation requirements, including familiarity with title documents and basic title endorsements
