Loan Servicing Specialist I
About The Position
Peoples Security Bank & Trust Company is seeking a Loan Servicing Specialist to support the full lifecycle of our commercial, consumer, and real estate loan portfolios. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, values accuracy, and wants to grow within a trusted, community-focused financial institution. As a Loan Servicing Specialist, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, organization, and compliance of our loan portfolio. Your work will support customers, internal teams, and regulatory requirements. You’ll collaborate closely with other departments to ensure smooth workflows and exceptional service.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 3 years of experience in loan servicing or a related banking role
- Strong understanding of lending fundamentals and collateral management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and math abilities
- Comfort working with computer systems and learning new platforms
- Familiarity with loan documentation, lending policies, and banking procedures
Responsibilities
- Managing loan onboarding and maintaining accurate loan records
- Preparing payoff quotes and processing payments
- Researching and resolving customer inquiries
- Supporting collateral management, including insurance and documentation tracking
- Assisting with loan reporting, remittance, and portfolio monitoring
- Coordinating activities related to participations and secondary market loans
- Ensuring proper recording, filing, and maintenance of loan documents
- Providing general operational support to the Loan Servicing team
