About The Position
Consumers Credit Union (CCU) is hiring a Loan Processor. In this role, you will work closely with sales team members and vendors to process and fund approved loan packages. The primary focus is on consumer loans, but you will also process a variety of other loans such as vehicle, personal loans, CD secured loans, and share secured loans. This is a great job for someone who values working with colleagues and is process and detail-oriented.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- 1 year of experience in loan processing or related positions in industries such as Insurance, Real Estate, Title Companies, Lending, or related financial institutions.
- Time management and organizational skills – must have the ability and drive to meet deadlines!
- Enthusiasm to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office and Loan Origination Systems or related.
- Ability to work Monday through Friday and on rotating Saturdays: Monday-Friday between 8:30 AM- 6:00 PM, Rotating Saturdays, 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM.
Responsibilities
- Review supporting documents for loan files.
- Build and maintain relationships with vendors and sales staff throughout the loan closing process.
- Process related documentation and evaluate funded loans to ensure all required documentation has been acquired.
- Utilize a loan origination system (LOS) to track files and extract necessary data.
