About The Position

Consumers Credit Union (CCU) is hiring a Loan Processor. This role works closely with sales team members and vendors to process and fund approved loan packages, primarily focusing on consumer loans but also processing vehicle, personal, CD secured, and share secured loans. This position is ideal for someone who values teamwork and is process and detail-oriented.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of experience in loan processing or related positions in industries such as Insurance, Real Estate, Title Companies, Lending, or related financial institutions.
• Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Enthusiasm to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office and Loan Origination Systems or related.
• Ability to work Monday through Friday between 8:30 AM - 6:00 PM and on rotating Saturdays from 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM.

Responsibilities

• Review supporting documents for loan files.
• Build and maintain relationships with vendors and sales staff throughout the loan closing process.
• Process related documentation and evaluate funded loans to ensure all required documentation is acquired.
• Utilize a loan origination system (LOS) to track files and extract necessary data.
