About The Position

The Loan Processing Associate will be responsible for completing the order services process, which includes requesting, reviewing, and verifying loan processing documents such as title and insurance. This role involves clearing loan processing conditions within the loan operating system, including insurance, collateral, disclosure, and title items. The associate will review title and insurance documents to ensure they meet guidelines and serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external business partners. Key responsibilities include managing expectations, obtaining needed documentation, and adhering to timelines regarding lender-side conditions like title, appraisal, and HOI. The role also requires monitoring personal pipeline and collaborating with Mortgage Specialists and other internal partners to ensure loan cycle times meet client expectations. Additionally, the associate will monitor loan progress until closing to ensure documents are not expired and demonstrate the ability to work independently, problem-solve creatively and proactively, and execute at a high level.

Requirements

  • 5 years of residential mortgage loan processing experience required
  • Proven track record in quality loan production while maintaining a large client base
  • Outstanding written, verbal, and analytical skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and plan; effective time management skills to meet loan closing deadlines
  • Must possess a superior customer service focus
  • Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office products suite
  • High school diploma or equivalent required

Responsibilities
