About The Position

The Loan Originator generates new business, builds relationships with borrowers and referral partners, and helps customers structure financing solutions that meet their needs. Success requires consistently meeting monthly production targets, developing a strong referral network, and managing an active loan pipeline from initial opportunity through closing. The role works with Customer Care, Credit, and other internal teams to support timely processing and closing, while serving as the primary customer contact throughout the financing process.

Responsibilities

Source new loan opportunities through direct outreach, existing relationships, and referral partners.
Meet or exceed monthly loan origination targets.
Evaluate financing opportunities, structure loan scenarios, and negotiate terms consistent with Dunmor's lending guidelines.
Build and maintain relationships with investors, builders, developers, brokers, and other referral partners.
Develop repeat business and referrals through strong customer relationships.
Maintain knowledge of local real estate markets, lending trends, and competitive offerings.
Maintain an active loan pipeline and follow up promptly from initial opportunity through closing.
Keep prospect, customer, and loan information accurate and current in the CRM.
Monitor sales activity, pipeline performance, and production results to identify opportunities for improvement.
Coordinate with Customer Care, Credit, and other internal teams to support timely loan processing and closing.
Serve as the primary customer contact throughout the financing process, communicating updates and helping resolve issues.
Represent Dunmor at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
Build awareness of Dunmor's lending programs within assigned markets.
Follow up with industry contacts to develop new relationships and generate loan opportunities.
