About The Position

Perform a variety of functions including answering incoming client and customer calls, processing loan payoff requests, completing loan research and effectively communicating with customers and clients. Support the servicing of multiple financial institutions (including banks and credit unions).

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to work accurately with figures.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be organized and detail oriented.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office systems.

Nice To Haves

  • One to three years residential loan operation experience preferred.
  • Bilingual (Spanish and/or Portuguese) a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Respond and support customer and clients regarding consumer loans.
  • Review daily consumer reports and resolve any exceptions.
  • Prepare payoff quotes and complete processing of payoff transactions on the core processing system.
  • Process loan payments for consumer and mortgage loans and ensure all electronic payments are posted correctly in the core processing system.
  • Scan and record consumer loan files daily; ensure all documentation is complete.
  • Reconcile all consumer loans (direct and indirect) general ledger accounts maintained by the loan operations department.
  • Review daily lockbox vendor exception files and makes adjustments as needed or forward to the appropriate client.
  • Submit and process insurance claims for auxiliary products such as life and disability claims.
  • Back up to various loan operation positions.
  • Ensure confidentiality within all areas of responsibility.
  • Positively promote the company, its services and products in various capacities as may be required including: meetings, conferences, community events, fund raising, public relations or other events as they may occur.
  • Adherence with company policies that could be amended from time to time.
  • Follow all procedures pertaining to the company policies of BSA, USA Patriot Act, and OFAC.
  • Attend training's when available and to keep abreast of all information regarding changes and updates.
  • Report to Management any acts of disregard to these policies.
  • Successfully complete all company required and job specific training.
  • Perform additional duties as required.
