About The Position

The Loan Operations Specialist inputs and maintains customer loan account information in the bank’s database, tracks supporting documents, and balances related internal accounts. The role performs these duties using best practices for compliance, accuracy, completeness, timeliness, and other relevant quality measures. It works under the direct supervision of an Account Servicing Department Supervisor.

• Bookkeeping or banking experience may compensate for formal education.

Responsibilities

• Add and release loan collateral holds on deposit accounts pursuant to loan documents and release authorizations.
• Enter real estate collateral information into the property tax tracking database.
• Analyze escrow accounts annually.
• Verify the completeness and accuracy of the Synergy document database for deposit and loan accounts, which may be input and modified at all bank locations.
• Receive loan files and update the appropriate workflow.
• Handle routine customer and employee inquiries efficiently and courteously.
• Adhere to sensitive deadlines and time constraints.
• Perform duties necessary to ensure effective workflow and achievement of department goals.
