About The Position

This position is responsible for all duties and responsibilities of the Loan Operations Department, including oversight and management of the day-to-day workflow. The position is also responsible for performing routine and intermediate duties related to all areas of the department. This position reports to the Chief Lending Officer.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent education
Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial loan processing or loan operations
Knowledge of compliance, state and federally regulated lending laws
Knowledge of loan documentation requirements for all types of loans
Experience in mortgage loan processing
Excellent communication and customer services skills
Strong attention to detail
Strong time management skills, is self-motivated and organized
Excellent analytical and mathematical skills
Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel software
Strong computer skills and familiarity with banking applications/software
10 key, fax machine, multiple line telephones and typing skills

Responsibilities

Communicates with clients to request or provide information to prepare accurate loan and security documentation for new and renewed commercial and consumer loans in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with bank policy and procedure and Federal Regulations.
Input/scans new and renewal loan documents and supporting documentation into Image Centre.
Completes loan review / loan booking checklists as required. Reviews, images, and clears all loan collateral exceptions monitored in Teslar system.
Responsible for monitoring collateral insurance, including general liability, hazard, and flood insurance, was well as force placing uninsured or underinsured collateral coverage.
Verifies loan funding sheet information in Horizon, as well as funds loans.
Prepares loan, security, and disclosure documents for all non-real estate loans in FIS FLO.
Works with title companies and/or attorney’s office for loan documentation and closing. Performs pulls for various documents to support the loan requests such as credit reports, flood certifications, title and UCC searches.
Greets customers and answers phone.
Continuously monitors, updates, and organizes new commercial loan files to ensure consistency, neatness, and completeness in accordance with bank and departmental policy, including assisting with periodic audits of the loan files to ensure there are no exceptions.
Ensures loans are boarded in a timely manner on the loan system, notifying management of any delays as they are discovered. Does file maintenance as requested.
Provides loan payoff quotes, processes paid loans & prepares release of liens.
Responsible for post-closing lien perfection including, but not limited to, UCC-1 filings, life insurance assignments, and vehicle/boat/home title work.
Aids with updating and reviewing written procedures.
Performs other duties as assigned.
