About The Position

The Loan Operations Representative - Servicing plays a critical role in managing and supporting the lifecycle of loan accounts to ensure accurate and timely servicing. This position is responsible for handling customer inquiries, processing payments, and maintaining loan records in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. The role requires collaboration with various internal teams to resolve discrepancies, update account information, and support loan modifications or payoff requests. The representative will also monitor loan performance and assist in identifying potential risks or delinquencies to facilitate proactive solutions. Ultimately, this position ensures a seamless and positive experience for borrowers while maintaining the integrity and accuracy of loan servicing operations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of 1-2 years experience in loan servicing, banking, or financial services.
  • Strong understanding of loan servicing processes and financial documentation.
  • Proficiency with loan servicing software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly and professionally to borrower inquiries via phone, email, or written correspondence regarding loan status, payments, and account information.
  • Process loan payments, escrow adjustments, and payoff requests accurately and within established timelines.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate loan servicing records, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines.
  • Collaborate with internal departments such as underwriting, collections, and customer service to resolve account discrepancies and support loan modifications.
  • Monitor loan accounts for delinquencies or irregularities and escalate issues as necessary to mitigate risk and support borrower retention.
