About The Position

Mutual of Omaha Mortgage is seeking experienced Loan Officers for their Consumer Direct team. As a full-service lending division of a Fortune 300 company with over 100 years in business, we offer a complete line of residential mortgage, refinancing, and specialty loans. Our Loan Officers are trained to listen, build rapport, and understand the full financial situations of our customers to provide the most appropriate financial solutions. We specialize in affinity relationships with competitive pricing and ensure extremely competitive interest rates combined with optimal mortgage structuring by constantly updating our loan programs and pricing based on market patterns.

Requirements

  • Energetic and outgoing with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to be persuasive.
  • Good character and integrity.
  • Ability to connect quickly with consumers and build rapport with potential clients.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including excellent follow up capabilities.
  • Comfortable taking inbound calls.
  • Strong ability and passion for closing deals and negotiating.
  • Ability to quickly identify customer's goals and objectives.
  • Ambitious professional motivated by the opportunity for advancement.
  • Flexible and adaptable, learns and reacts quickly in a fast-paced environment, able to multi-task.
  • Strong sense of urgency and initiative to get things done.
  • Ability to handle high volume of phone calls.
  • Basic computer skills and data entry.
  • Sales experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Listen, build rapport, understand and analyze the full financial situations of our customers.
  • Provide the most appropriate financial solutions to meet each client's specific needs.
  • Take inbound calls.
  • Handle high volume of phone calls.
