About The Position

Fitzsimons is hiring a bilingual Spanish Loan Officer, referred to in the description as a Financial Consultant I. The role helps credit union members achieve their financial goals by building relationships, providing personalized guidance, and assisting with loans, accounts, and other financial solutions. Service is provided in person, by phone, and digitally. The position also involves helping members use online banking and self-service tools, while following policies and regulations and protecting member information. Spanish-speaking skills are identified as a plus. Employment is contingent upon a background check and bondability.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, personalized service in person, over the phone, and digitally, with a focus on building trust.
• Assist members with consumer loans, home equity products, credit cards, and other loan solutions from application through funding.
• Open new accounts, update existing accounts, and ensure member transactions are accurate.
• Identify members' needs and recommend appropriate credit union products, referring members to specialists when necessary.
• Educate members about their options so they can make informed financial decisions.
• Help members navigate online banking and other self-service tools.
• Follow policies, procedures, and regulations, and protect member information.
